I worked on the concept and Art Direction of this campaign while freelancing for agency Meanwhile.
Netflix came to us to promote their big summer film launch: Thursday Murder Club, a film about pensioners who get together to solve murders in an old people’s home. It’s a cosy night in kind of murder mystery, so we created cosy ads made of wool.
Our knitted postbox toppers not only appeared in towns across the country, but made great props for celeb photo ops on the star’s socials.
We worked with Tom Daley (who famously loves knitting) to knit us a Thursday Murder Club Jumper and amplify the campaign on social.
The cosy vibe expanded into flower arrangements, specifically a partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society to create a murder mystery event to launch the film, complete with a murder-themed garden.
